My Long Awaited Cloud Illusions

August 28, 2012 by Julianna

There are two problems that I am facing almost always every time I start a new project: which pattern to start first and which yarn to choose...
Among all the patterns listed by  Generous-Gardner  on her Ravelry page it ishard to choose the favourite, there are so many amazing patterns that you want to knit  each one. I went the easy way - selected the 5 my favourite patterns and  reviewed the pictures of the finished project, this is how I decided to  work on Clouds Illusions. I do not regret a single minute for this choice. It was pleasure to knit, easy  to follow, written in a clear language, with the hints and several options for the size.
For this pattern I selected a nice silk/seacell yarn that I bought on one of the fair. This yarn knits nicely without any big problems and gives you a soft shawl.
In terms of the pattern - it was a pleasure to work with so well written pattern, it had both written instructions and with the chart.
